History

The Frogman Swim Series traces its roots to swims across Tampa Bay in the late 1990’s. Today it has grown into a national series of events, currently in Tampa, Boston,  and Annapolis and has raised millions of dollars for the Navy SEAL Foundation. Each year the swim series grows stronger and more influential.

The Annapolis Frogman Swim was initially held in April 2023 as the Annapolis Trident Swim. The Annapolis Trident Swim raised more than $46,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation. In 2024 and 2025 the Annapolis Frogman Swim raised more than $350,000 for the Navy SEAL Foundation with the suport of more than 802 donors annually. Based on this success we are now part of the Frogman Swim Series and known as the Annapolis Frogman Swim.

Who We Are: The Event Organizers are local motivated individuals driven by a passion to support the Navy SEAL Foundation, active and retired SEALS and Navy Special Warfare Combatants, their families and Gold Star families. We honor those men who have given their lives to secure and defend American freedoms. Our goal is to provide support for the Naval Special Warfare Community and to perptuate the history and heritage of U.S. Naval Commandos.

The Annapolis Frogman Swim is one of a three swim series of events, which also includes the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim and the Boston Frogman Swim.  To learn more about the history of the Frogman Swim Series, please click here.
